First United Methodist

Join us here at the First United Methodist Church (The church on the corner of 19th & Nebraska) each evening from Monday, July 26th thru Friday, July 30th, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., with a free-will offering meal each evening at 5:30, as we all become a part of Hero HeadQuarters!

At Hero HeadQuarters, kids will meet unlikely Bible heroes who are often overlooked. In fact, we don't know a single one of their names! They were not famous leaders or called by God to perform amazing miracles-yet their small acts were used by God to do wonderful things!

Help kids discover that if they're willing to be used by God in any situation, no matter how big or small, they can make a difference. With God's power at work, they can be heroes right where they are!

This program is FREE and is open for all children born on or before 9/15/2006 up to those who have completed the 5th grade.  Middle and High School students, as well as adults, are welcome to join as volunteers.

Contact Rose here at the church 258-0119 or e-mail her at fumcrose@q.com if you need more information.
